AQUAMARINE is a specially designed outdoor product from JMT Leather, which combines a high level of durability with complete water resistance. Despite this for some of our products we suggest considering it especially in contractual upholstery because of it's extreme durability.
ARABICA leathers are produced on good quality hides and finished with a pigmented topcoat. The grain has been slightly polished to give an excellent cutting yield but with the look and softness of full grain leather. The effect produces a beautiful feel and finish but with excellent durability.
BALMORAL is a luxurious, pure aniline leather produced on top quality European hides.Treated with a special protective dull wax to achieve a unique light two-one effect, this leather should be used for high quality applications. Very small, healed scars or scratches may appear on the surface and prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause fading. Thickness: 0.9/1.0mm.
BAROLO is a luxurious, soft, pure aniline leather produced on top quality hides and treated with a special protective wax to achieve a unique lustre. This leather is not as colour fast as pigmented hides and should be protected from direct sunlight and not placed next to radiators or any other heat sources where the protective wax could dry out. Evidence of marks and scarring will be seen through the surface finish.
CARRINGTON is a semi aniline leather produced on high quality hides. A slight two-tone effect is evident and is achieved by using pigments in the initial coat, with later coats containing a contrasting dye. These hides are uncorrected and will show a certain amount of natural marks and scars manifesting the natural origin of this type of leather. Carrington is very soft and supple leather and needs a little more care in use than pigmented hides.
CERVO is a heavy weight corrected grain leather with an attractive two-tone finish. This leather boasts a clean and economical cutting area with an extremely durable finish. Thickness: 1.1/1.2mm These corrected grain hides have been embossed with an artificial grain pattern and finished with a pigmented topcoat. This type of leather offers better light fastness, stain resistance and has excellent durability.
CRYSTAL is a lightly buffed; pull-up leather finished with a blend of oils and waxes to achieve a cracked, almost distressed finish with a slight pull-up effect. These pull-up leathers are tanned to ensure a pleasing distressed finish. Extra fat liquors are applied during tannage, to give the leather a waxy feel. The leathers are designed to allow the natural variations of the leather to show through the finished coat. Pull up leathers do not have a consistent colour density across the whole hide. They are also designed to change colour when pulled or stretched. These types of leathers are not as colour fast as pigmented hides and should be protected from direct sunlight and not placed next to radiators and other heat sources where the wax could dry out. Evidence of marks and scarring will be seen through the surface finish. Each hide is unique and swatch samples should be regarded as no more than a guide for these types of leather.

HAVANNA is a heavy weight, semi-aniline leather that has been milled to achieve an attractive grain pattern. These leathers are produced on good quality hides and finished with a pigmented topcoat. MILANO is bold and contemporary range of leathers has been developed in conjunction with leading design experts for all contract applications. The colours have been specifically chosen to reflect the requirements of today and to give designers a glimpse into the future. Thickness: 0.9/1.0mm Made on better quality corrected grain hides and finished with a pigmented topcoat, which is lightly embossed with an artificial grain pattern. It has a smoother tighter grain finish than Shelly and offers good light fastness and stain resistance. Milano is a soft leather with excellent durability.
MUIRFIELD is an oiled nubuk leather produced on selected European hides. This aniline top grain leather is dyed and then lightly buffed and as no pigment is used there will be some colour variation. Small natural marks, such as healed scars, scratches and insect bites give this leather character. Muirfield hides will fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight. Thickness: 1.1/1.3mm
NATURA is the most beautiful super-soft ecologically compliant leather on the market.It is totally chrome free and is carefully produced by our leather laboratory on only the very best selection of bovine hides. Most importantly, only natural oils and vegetal dyes are used in its preparation. To retain its wonderful softness Natura has been designed to react like human skin. Its pores have not been sealed with a finishing chemical, but are kept open allowing it to breath and exhale moisture according to the environment in which it is placed. Each individual hide is unique, showing off its particular personality of small scars, pigmentation variations and slight abrasions. Far from being considered defects these idiosyncrasies enhance the natural beauty and individuality of each hide.
NEWCASTLE is a full grain, leather finished with a blend of oils to achieve a pull-up effect and a glossy finish. Newcastle comes into its own when used on tightly upholstered applications as the colours change on the furniture creating a classic “old saddle” appearance. Healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles will be apparent throughout these hides. Since Newcastle is pure aniline leather, hides will fade in prolonged sunlight. Thickness: 1.0/1.1mm
RUB-OFF: An extensive range of rub-off antique leathers that have been buffed and corrected to remove imperfections and embossed with a traditional print. This is a variety of pigmented leather embossed with an attractive "Water Buffalo" grain, where the surface is made attractive by the application of a contrasting topcoat that can be partially removed (rubbed off) to reveal the underlying colour that is then sealed with a lacquer.
SEGOVIA: This is heavyweight leather finished with a blend of oils and waxes. A natural, pleasant distressed look is given by colour fading on contact areas over time. Since Segovia is pure aniline leather, hides will fade in prolonged sunlight. Thickness: 1.3/1.5mm
SELVAGIO: This distressed, pull up leather has been lightly brushed with beeswax to give a pleasant matt appearance. These are aniline leathers, tanned to ensure a pleasing distressed finish. SHELLY is a comprehensive range of corrected grain finished hides with a pigmented topcoat, embossed with an artificial grain pattern. This type of leather offers better light fastness, stain resistance and has excellent durability. Thickness: 0.9/1.0mm
TROON is a luxury, super soft, top grain leather, which has been colour dyed, then vacuum dried to achieve a smooth supple feel. A strong, solid protective coat is then applied to improve durability. Troon is superb leather for heavy-duty application. It is produced on the top selection of European steers. Thickness: 0.9/1.0mm.
TUSCANY is a luxurious, full aniline leather with a velvet nubuck finish. This is an aniline nubuck leather produced on top quality hides. The surface has been buffed to produce a luxurious velvet nap. A wax has been applied during the tanning process which gives a certain amount of soiling resistance. This leather is not as colour fast as pigmented hides and should be protected from direct sunlight and not placed next to radiators and other heat sources. Thickness: 0.9/1.1mm
VICTORIAN: Vegetable tanned in a traditional way, this leather is of the highest quality. Aniline dyed and hand padded to give a unique finish. This is a full grain aniline leather produced on only the best quality hides. It is hand finished and polished to give a unique look. No two hides will be identical; some areas of the hide will be much darker than others due to undergoing hand padding with the application of a darker topcoat as the final finishing process. Thickness: 0.9/1.1mm.
METALLIC: A smooth corrected grain, metallic leather. Thickness 0.9/1.0mm. Made on better quality corrected grain hides and finished with a pigmented topcoat, which is lightly embossed with an artificial grain pattern.
