History: The Venice is named after the Italian City of Venice, the capital of Veneto. Venice is considered as one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. It is known as La Dominante which means City of Water. It has 118 small islands. The Venetian Republic was, apart from other things, a very important centre of commerce and art in the 13th to the 17th centuries.

Manufacturing:
The Venice Fabric Sofa is handmade in England by Master Craftsmen with decades of experience in making quality English furniture.

All our components are British sourced and made. Every piece of furniture is made to order and double checked to make sure that it serves you for years to come.

Our hardwood frames are made with beech of the highest quality. All our furniture joints are dowelled and glued. Stress points are also screwed to ensure durability. The seat platforms are steel sprung or webbed with high-tension webbing.

The cushions are filled with either memory foam or reflex fibre although other options like feather are also available according to your personal needs and for optimum comfort.

Covering materials: The Venice can be covered in Fabric or Leather or Faux Leather for Vegetarians. We have numerous photographs of items made for our discerning customers. We’ve listed our suggested covering materials which you can access using the dropdown.Please note that you can also supply your own material.

Bespoke services: Because our furniture is handmade, we offer a fully bespoke service whereby you have complete freedom in the design and make up of your furniture. The style, size, material used, down to the colour and texture will entirely your choice.

We have standard sizes which can be supplied easily and quickly or you can use the to create your unique piece of furniture.

We would like to hear details of your specific requirements and when we have this information, we will be able to advise you on the best way forward, be it based on the Torino sofa or a different design.  You may change any of the details, such as the height, width or style of legs etc..  You are, in effect, able to “Design your own sofa” so please go ahead, e-mail your requirements and we’ll do the rest.  We’ll even send you a sketch, if you wish but please don’t forget to ask for one.

A classic round-backed Chesterfield with buttoned narrow facings, ideal for small spaces.

The Monkton chesterfield sofa is a simple, classics design, suitable for smaller homes, though as nearly all of our sofas just among the standard sizes you’ll find the 5 seat version too.

Looks specially great in aniqued leather, but if you want to spice it up you can choose any of our designer fabrics or some exclusive leather with really special finish. Probably the classic wooden bun feet fits to its design best, but of course you can choose any other legs if you prefer.

Classy, stunning, innovative, these dining chairs are to be seen to be believed. Covered in full leather, the frame and legs are hard wood. Leather shown is pure white but they call in all colours!
